| On Sunday 25th July Coralie Mumford, the CPSW (Chaplain) of Minlaton District School came to talk to the congregation at St Benedict's about her work in the school. She spoke of her work with both the teachers and the students at the school, and her times with students on camps and excursions where she can talk with them more openly. Coralie has many resources available for students dealing with relationships, health and Christian beliefs. She told of the success of the SUPA club which meets 3 times a term on a Tuesday - primary students love to attend and hear stories and join in with songs and talks. She meets regularly with other CPSW in Adelaide and is helped by the Schools Ministry Group ( http://www.smg.asn.au/ ) She also spoke of her involvement with the local youth group (www.ccy.net.au) | ||||

Afterwards the congregation made their way to the Curry Pub for lunch where everyone enjoyed fellowship and good food. The occassion was also used to celebrate the engagement of Father Philip to Ruth McFarlane. |
