" Over 100 people attended the Commissioning Service at St. Benedict's, Minlaton, of the new District Priest, Fr. Thomas Karama. Bp. Garry Weatherill spoke of the joint ministry of Priest and people and presented Fr. Thomas with his licence. Fr. Thomas has been working for five months in the District as the Locum Priest. Four members of the Ministry District, Barbara Evans, Clinton Roberts, Rosemary Nicholls and the Rev'd Anne Ford received their Certificates in Ministry & Theology from Trinity College, Melbourne, following 3 years of part-time study. Michael Ford was their tutor."
